The mural "El Pueblo / The People" is inspired by the people, especially the Puerto Ricans who are currently being reconstructed after the catastrophe by the passage of Hurricane Maria on the island of Puerto Rico on September 20, 2017.
The image is a fist constructed with different types of wood rescued. Each of the woods represents each one of us. Symbolizing the way in which together we can build a society with strength. There are representations of destroyed houses, fallen poles, the Puerto Rican resistance flag, helicopters and military trucks, et cetera. A scene of chaos where the resilience of an entire PEOPLE is imposed.
